Dichroic [dī-krō'ĭk] glass shows a different color when light is going through  it from that when light is being reflected off it, and the reflected light itself has two colors depending upon whether the main light is being reflected directly or at an oblique angle.  Seeing the earring in a photo  is necessarily different than  when it moves as you wear it; the color changes back and forth from the transmitted color to the reflected color.

Additionally, each of these earrings has a base (the back of the earring) of dichroic glass.  It usually  matches one of the top decorating dichroic bits on the  front.  This glass influences the color of the body of the earring.  For example, a sky blue with a magenta base glass will flash violet.  As well, the dichroic on the front and back will, with pale glass in the body of the earring, reflect on each other.

Given all that, I will try to describe each earring a bit on its page -- i.e. the page you get to by clicking on the thumbnail of each piece.  Of course it helps a whole lot once you have seen them “in person”.

The earwires are either sterling silver (SS) or 14k gold-filled (GF).  I get a lot of inquiries about the quality of the gold-filled wire.  I myself cannot wear commercial gold-filled; it is customarily 12k which I can’t wear.  Since I am able to wear these GF earwires all day all year without any discomfort I consider it to be a quality metal that I can recommend to people with a similar history.

Please note that all the "minis", all the "shorts", and all the "longs", the 3 different sizes, are groups of earrings that are very similar in size (although the thumbnail photos vary a good deal in size). Also note that the mini size has a narrower gauge earwire and a smaller earwire bead.
